Character editing, imported-image processing, and PNG exports happen in your browser. The editor does not require a MiniMuse Fun account.
Scope of this policy
This policy describes the MiniMuse Fun website and character editor. It does not describe MiniMuse, other websites linked from our guides, or the independent services that may provide hosting and access to this website.
Policy updated October 9, 2026. “MiniMuse Fun” refers to this independent character workshop.
Data stored on your device
The editor uses IndexedDB to store the current draft and saved projects. A project can contain character names, outfits, colors, poses, layer settings, scene positions, and PNG images you import. Saved copies also include a small preview image and a save timestamp.
This project data is stored in your browser on your device. The current application does not send project content or imported images to a MiniMuse Fun application server. It does not offer cross-device synchronization, public profiles, or a cloud project library.
Image processing and downloads
When you choose a PNG, the browser reads and checks it locally, then redraws it into a normalized image for use in the editor. The original file is not modified. PNG exports are created in the browser and downloaded through your browser’s normal file controls.
A downloaded image is outside the site’s local project storage. Deleting a project or clearing site data does not delete images you already downloaded. If you share those files through another service, that service’s own privacy practices apply.
Website requests and hosting
Your browser requests this website’s HTML, styles, scripts, and artwork from the hosting provider. Delivering a website exposes connection information such as an IP address, request time, browser information, and requested URL to the provider. Its infrastructure may process logs for delivery, reliability, and security.
MiniMuse Fun uses optional Google Analytics to understand website visits. It has no advertising scripts or external font services. Hosting providers still process connection data. Their service terms and privacy notices apply to that infrastructure.
Optional Google Analytics
If you choose Allow analytics, the site loads Google’s tag for measurement ID G-BFRK7ZTWYK. Google Analytics receives page-view information and may measure site interactions depending on the property’s settings, along with browser, device, and connection information. Analytics cookies can distinguish visits and sessions. Google processes this information under its privacy policy.
Analytics is off until you opt in on the Cookies & storage page. Choosing Essential only leaves the game available and prevents the Google tag from loading. Advertising consent remains denied, and the site disables Google signals and advertising personalization in its tag configuration. The application does not send your character project records or imported images to Analytics.
The page-view code removes URL query strings and fragments from the page address it sends, and limits the referrer to its website origin. Your consent choice is honored for up to 180 days. It is stored in localStorage, and expired records are removed the next time the page checks them. Analytics cookies are configured with a 180-day expiry. Google’s server-side retention is controlled separately by the Analytics account settings.
Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice. Withdrawing permission disables further collection by this site’s tag and removes its accessible Analytics cookies. It does not erase data already received by Google. Clearing browser site data removes the locally stored preference and projects.
Retention and deletion
Drafts and saved projects remain until you remove them, clear browser site data, or your browser evicts them. My projects lets you remove an individual saved copy. The active draft is separate and can remain after that copy is removed.
To delete all MiniMuse Fun local data, close other MiniMuse Fun tabs and use your browser’s site settings to clear storage for this website address. This removes drafts, saved projects, and their embedded imported images. Download any finished pictures you want first. MiniMuse Fun cannot recover erased local data from a server.
What you choose to enter
Character names are for creative labels. You do not need to enter your real name or other personal information to use the studio. Choose imported artwork carefully if your device or browser profile is shared with someone else, because local projects remain available in that profile.
The editor has no public posting, chat, payment, or account registration feature. External links open websites with their own data practices. Review those policies before providing information there.
Changes to this policy
If the editor adds features that change how data is handled, this policy should be updated along with those features. The date above identifies this version. Read Cookies & storage for a shorter explanation of the browser storage used here.
